Brake Service · Cleveland, OH

Your front brake is 70% of your stopping power. Treat it that way.

Pads, rotors, fluid, caliper rebuilds, ABS bleeds. The one system where "probably fine" isn't good enough.

Brakes are the highest-stakes system on a motorcycle and one of the most neglected — fluid that hasn't been changed in years, pads worn to the backing plate, seized caliper pistons dragging a rotor hot. We service brakes like the safety system they are: measured, torqued, bled, and test-ridden.

Pad-and-fluid jobs are often done as a mobile visit. Caliper rebuilds, rotor replacement, and ABS work happen at the shop with pickup and delivery if you need it.

Signs your brakes need attention

  • Lever feels spongy or slowly pumps up
  • Squealing, grinding, or pulsing under braking
  • Bike pulls to one side, or a wheel drags when pushed
  • Fluid in the reservoir looks like iced tea
  • ABS light on, or brakes untouched for 2+ years

What's included

  • Pads and rotors: measured against service limits, not guessed
  • Full fluid flush with spec DOT fluid, vacuum-bled
  • Caliper service: clean, new seals, pistons checked for pitting
  • Brake line inspection and stainless-line upgrades
  • ABS-equipped bikes bled correctly, warning lights diagnosed

Pricing: Pad-and-fluid services are flat-rate quoted by model. Calipers and ABS work are quoted after inspection — always before the work starts.

Brake Service FAQ

How often should brake fluid be changed?

Every two years regardless of miles. Brake fluid absorbs water from the air; wet fluid boils under hard braking and that's when the lever goes to the bar. It's a cheap service that people skip for a decade.

My lever is spongy after winter storage. Ride it or not?

Don't ride it. Spongy after sitting usually means moisture in the fluid or a weeping seal. That's a mobile-visit diagnosis — we'll tell you on the spot whether it's a bleed or a caliper problem.

Do you install stainless brake lines?

Yes — a stainless line kit plus fresh fluid is the single best feel upgrade on an older bike, and we do them regularly as part of performance builds.

Bike acting up? Don't trailer it — we come to you.
