I forgot to winterize and now my bike won't start. Can you help?

We test the battery, check for stale or phase-separated fuel, and give you an honest triage before anything gets torn into. Often it's just a dead battery and bad gas; sometimes injectors or carbs need cleaning. Either way, you get a firm quote before any work starts.
Do I really need a battery tender?
If the bike sits more than a few weeks through an Ohio winter, yes. Batteries self-discharge on their own, cold accelerates it, and a deeply discharged battery that freezes is usually done for good. The fused pigtail we install makes it a one-time plug-in — cheapest insurance on the whole checklist.
Should I change the oil before storage or after?
Before. Used oil holds combustion acids and moisture, and letting that sit against your bearings and cases for five months is how storage quietly damages engines. Fresh oil in, a short run to circulate it, and the bike sleeps clean. That's why it's on our checklist — not an upsell.
When should I book winterization?
