Track Prep · Cleveland, OH
Pass tech. Then go faster.
Tech-inspection-ready prep for Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, and PittRace track days.
Nothing ruins a track day like failing morning tech — or spending your sessions fighting a bike set up for the street. We prep bikes to the tech sheets used at Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, and PittRace: safety wire where required, glycol coolant swapped, throttle snap, and every fastener that matters torqued and marked.
Beyond passing tech, we set the bike up to work at pace: sag and clicker baseline for track loads, gearing for the circuit, tire pressure targets, and a pre-load checklist so your first session is a session, not a scramble.
Prep checklist highlights
- Safety wiring: drain plugs, filler caps, calipers per org rules
- Coolant swap to water/water-wetter where glycol is banned
- Suspension baseline for track pace and your weight
- Gearing recommendation per circuit
- Full-fastener torque check, chain, pads, and tire assessment
What's included
- Prep to your organization's actual tech sheet (bring it or name the org)
- Safety wire done cleanly with drilled fasteners, not hose clamps
- Fluid swaps and catch-can / case-cover options
- Setup session: sag, clickers, tire pressures for track
- Post-track debrief service: re-torque, fluids check, street conversion back

Track Prep FAQ
Which track orgs' rules do you prep for?
Any org running at Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, or PittRace — bring the tech sheet or tell us the organization and we'll prep to it. Requirements differ (especially on coolant and wiring), so name the org when booking.
Do I need race bodywork and slicks for a first track day?
No. Novice groups run street bikes with mirrors taped daily. Good tires in good condition, fresh brake fluid, and a tech-pass bike is the honest minimum — the rest comes when the pace demands it.
Can you convert my track setup back for the street?
Yes — we do the reverse conversion (coolant back, mirrors and plate on, street pressures and setup) as a standard follow-up visit.
